WPPI 2010 | The Mojave Desert

Ted and I had an amazing time in Vegas for WPPI 2010. This week long photography convention brings together photographers from all over the world! The days were filled with lectures with some of the industry’s top photographers and, of course, the tradeshow with all kinds of cool new products and equipment. I learned so much I thought I might implode! It was definitely information overload- but I am stoked for improving my business in 2010!

At the end of the convention Ted and I decided to get away from the city lights and smoky casinos. We went to a one man town called Nipton just outside of Vegas. We stayed the night in our own private little tent cabin. It was just us, the starry sky, and the vast Mojave desert. In the morning we explored the beauty of the desert- I especially love the Joshua trees.

That place sounds outstanding! I’d love to take Justin there. He wants to explore the desert, and a tent-cabin in a small town would be PERFECT!
