When we pulled up to Plumas Pines Golf Course I was in awe. A golf course amongst pine trees and rustic mountain terrain. A white tent sits on top of the hill. It is surrounded by redwoods so high they touch the sky. We venture up to check it out. A cool breeze blows through and I thank Mother Earth for giving us this beautiful 88 degree day. Chairs are lined up facing the sweeping views of the green valley and mountains. This is where Rachel and Sean will marry! Just beautiful. The bride and her entourage arrive and hurry downstairs to finish getting ready. The groom and his two brothers just one door away. In a few minutes they will meet under those tall trees. Just the two of them. Rachel holds back tears as Sean sees his bride for the first time. They hold each other. Laugh. Kiss. This is the day they will marry! The guitarist plays a flamenco tune with such energy and spirit the guests all clap for his skill. Soon the bride will walk down the aisle, now shaded by those beautiful trees. Sean will take her hands in his and they will exchange heartfelt vows. Place rings on each other’s fingers. And kiss. The guest cheer as they walk down the aisle. Husband and wife. The newlywed couple mingles with friends and family. Rachel’s sister welcomes the groom into the family with a mini dance party. Sean’s brother speaks of the love and respect that Sean has for his mother and knows his brother will always honor and love his wife as he does their mother. With emotions flowing Rachel’s father speaks of the feeling he felt the first time he saw his sweet daughter the day she was born. He felt that same love seeing her on her wedding day. There wasn’t a dry eye to be found at his heart filled words. Guests toasted to Sean and Rachel’s love with a drink of their homemade limoncello. Plate after plate is passed along the tables as guests dine like Italians. Caesar salad, butternut squash risotto, pasta bolognese, pasta puttanesca, brasato di carne con polenta. So delicious! A desert table is lined with sweets and a sign saying, People who love to eat are the best people. With appetites sastified guests move to the dance floor. The song Happy comes on. Clap along if you know what happiness is for you! No one hesitates to clap.
Congratulations Rachel and Sean! It was a joy to document your beautiful wedding day. Wishing you many years of love and happiness!!
xo Kristy

Wondering if those photos taken in black & white are also available in color?
In general, those photos we have seen thus far wonderfully depict the pre and post ceremonial activities as well as the ceremony itself.
Will be interested in seeing further photos that were taken showing each and both sides of the bride and groom families.
