You could say Jessica and Brett met through friends. But that wouldn’t be quite as interesting as the real story….. about how Brett heard about this hot girl yet never gave her a call, and then when he did finally call she declined. I have to admit, I am with Jessica on this one- going to Tahoe with ‘some guy she didn’t even know’ was not a great idea for a first date! They did, however, go on a first date (although there is much debate on who asked who) and the rest is well… history. Jessica and Brett shared their story during the ceremony. I am not sure if I was the only one who gave a big sigh after Brett retold the conversation he had with his friend after the first date… Jessica wasn’t just a hottie- she was the one!

During the first dance the slow song abruptly stopped- Jessica and Brett stood in amazement wondering what was wrong. I was seriously wondering what happened to the music when a new beat started. Jessica and Brett started to dance- looking a bit awkward -to the new song. But then as the upbeat tempo picked up- they broke out in a unison. I have seen couples switch midway through the first dance to a fast song- but these two had me convinced the DJ had just made a mistake! lol
