I was so excited to get together with Allana + Peter for their engagement photos. The redwoods at the UC Davis Arboretum were the perfect setting- especially since they both studied at UC Davis. We spent most of the shoot just laughing and having a good time! I loved that Allana brought a few things for a pick-nick styled look and a nice dressed up look. These two are very laid back but sure do clean up nicely!

We know Lauren from Jacks Urban Eats and were so stoked to photograph her big day! She always has a huge smile on her face and now I know why! Lauren and her Marine, Greg have way too much fun for their own good! …but that’s what great relationships are made of- lots of love and laughter! Lauren + Greg were married at Brookshire Gardens in El Dorado. It was an absolutely beautiful day. Vintage eye candy was around every corner, from the rustic barn, old books, to the vintage photographs of family on the tables. Needless to say, this couples loves their country and red, white, and blue touches were everywhere. I love the antiqued wood USA flag they used for guests to sign in. What a great idea to have your photo booth set up so everyone can instagram the pictures they take- brilliant! More then anything what I loved was how goofy and fun Lauren + Greg are together, how Lauren danced with her feet on her dad’s feet the whole father-daughter dance, and all the joy on their friends + family faces literally all day long!

Oh, I just love how cute and squishy newborn babes are!! Little Miss Raelynn is one of the cutest! There is something so special about those first few days with your newborn in your home. Could her parents be more in love with her sweetness! Congrats Jon + Kia

Beth and Stephen found each other in one of my favorite places in the world… Italy. They were both studying abroad there when they met. What a beautiful place to fall in love and go on your honeymoon! They have a fun and playful energy and you can just tell they LOVE each other! Their wedding was a beautiful celebration with all their closest friends and family. I adore how they incorporated their shared love of cooking into their table centerpieces- each being a different Herb. They also had guests write a note on the back of their favorite recipe cards so that as they cook they will be reminded of their wedding day. Love.

Oh, and did I mention chocolate covered strawberries instead of a traditional wedding cake. Brilliant!

Where does the time go! I can’t believe that two years ago I was photographing this sweet couples wedding and now they are expecting their first. I was so excited and happy to hear that Camille is expecting a little girl! She looks absolute beautiful! Happy Mothers Day Camille!
